Pho Spot

Regular customer here! From the numerous visits, I’ve tried the pho (with various toppings), bun bo hue (it’s a spicy-ish soup noodle and one of their specialities) and their iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and mango smoothie! I’m never disappointed despite any choice that I make here. The servers are friendly, but you have to get to know them; there might be a cultural barrier that some people aren’t used to. Other than that, great (& quick) food & superb service every time i’m here!

Today when it was drizzling in North Vancouver, I suddenly came here thinking of rice noodles. What I order is Pho Tai Chin Nac and Goi Cuon(salad roll) and eat them all ! It is a taste of Vietnam.

I ordered a dish I was unfamiliar with, when I asked about it there was a miscommunication on what I was expecting. I asked “so this is the same as this?” And she said yes. My pho came with egg noodle. I very politely said this was not what I was expecting and if we could re make it with rice noodles. She made a huge fuss and caused a scene in front of everyone in the restaurant. My girlfriend was happy to pay for another dish but at this point she has embarrassed us enough I didn’t want to give any more service. Honestly, if a guest is unhappy or wants something fixed, their needs should come first without hesitation. Rice noodles are dollars so I don’t know why she had to fight me on me just wanting to enjoy my meal properly.

Food are delicious and affordable. Clean and well maintained. Staff knows what's best for you.

Pho is 10/10 and the owners are super nice people. I live in Coquitlam but make the drive down to North Vancouver once in awhile to enjoy a delicious meal at my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. Highly recommend their Bun bo Hue with a nice refreshing Vietnamese we ice coffee with condensed milk!

My new favorite pho restaurant! I have been back 4 times already since my first visit. Their broth is delicious, service is fast and I think their noodles are the best. Always perfectly cooked. Their spring rolls are also great, not super greasy like other places. Best place to get pho in North Van.

TLDR: premium price for not so premium bowl of phoMaybe I'm spoiled from all the good Pho found in Richmond and Vancouver but this place has got to be one of the worst pho i've tasted in the past decade.I ordered a "raw" beef pho while my partner ordered a "brisket" and "raw" beef pho. I put these in quotation because both bowls look all the same as the meat was shriveled and not even raw. The brisket was 90% fat and it was as thin as a strand of hair.The noodles had a smell to it, a sign that it was precooked earlier. The soup was underwhelming and the sides look depressing. The worst is that they placed the raw sprouts near the sink and I could see one of the waiter washing his hand next to it!Service was also non existent.

Awesome PHO, they have a great ratio of soup to noodles, service was fast food is hot. Staff is very friendly and accomdating my new favourite PHO Spot ❤️

One of the only places open late on lonsdale! Not only is the food delicious but the owners are some of the sweetest people ever. The fact that they run this place themselves daily is basically a superpower in itself.

Came here at Pho Spot before.Although it's the only spot open late in north van I would not waste money here. They gave us two pieces of small lemon for 2 large soups.

My girlfriend and I go almost once a week the food is always amazing and the owners are really nice. You won't regret a trip here.

Don't get fouled by some of the reviews! This is authentic Vietnamese cuisine right on Lonsdale Ave. Amazing Pho :) We come every week and still can get enough of it

Broth and meat is good. But the noodles need improvement. They are mushed together into a ball as if they came out of a shrink wrapped package from the fridge. I assume they precook the noodles and reheat them when time to serve. The noodles are so tightly jammed together that they break apart as you try to separate them. Still decent overall and will go again.

This place has turned us in to regular customers as my wife and I eat here at least once a week. We normally go for the Vietnam Subs, and Veggie pho. The food is always consistently good. The store is a basic yet comfy set-up and always VERY clean, especially the bathrooms! The owners are hardworking folks (they run the shop 12 hours day, 7days a week) and always make sure my wife, friends and I have a great meal and mood when we eat in. Will be back again for our once a week visit.

The rating on this place is underrated.Head here for the Pho Sate, and you will be pleasantly surprised by a flavorful soup base, perfect rice noodles, and very high quality raw beef(not gristly at all, like other places). It comes piping hot and the thinly sliced meat cooks to perfection as you separate and distribute it through your broth. Staff are friendly and helpful too.Lemon grass chicken is equality top notch.This is a genuine Vietnamese run Vietnamese restaurant that you'll enjoy going to. Highly recommended!

This place is seriously underrated! Everything that I have ordered from here has been incredibly tasty and will definitely come back in the future!
